ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with that.
DeleteVery cool. Hoppers have been the ticket here in AZ recently too.
ReplyDeleteBen
Ben, I have seen some of your recent photos and yes, they are working very well.
DeleteVery nice windshield rod holder. Nice country, looks a lot like Northern California.
ReplyDeleteMark
Mark, It was a low budget alternative to my other options!
DeleteHi, Juan, it has to be very satisfying to know that you have influenced a lot of eager new fly fishers with your classes. I need to tie up some of the PMD Ice Emergers. Good looking arsenal of rods and reels too!
ReplyDeleteMel, Yes, it has been great sharing a bit of knowledge to these new people. The smiles on their face at the end of their day is proof that they have had a good time and most of them end up wanting to get back on the water as soon as possible.
DeleteI was in 11mi Sunday too, and 22 tricos and 20 BWO's were king for me. Thought about hoppers but why change what was working. That was my first trip to 11 and what a place. Looks like it was a great trip for you too. Keep postin', I'll keep readin'!
ReplyDeleteR.R.-Thanks for checking the blog out. I hope it will offer you some information on fishing and tying. Things should start changing here in a few days! Stay tuned.
DeleteThat's a sweet lineup of rod/reel combos.
ReplyDeleteBrain-those are some of my guide rods. I don't pull out the good stuff for the guide trips. I am a gear whore for sure. I can't help it. Maybe I need help!
