All tied up.

Here are a few of the patterns I have been tying over the winter.  Why tie flies for winter fishing when spring and summer are right around the corner?  Yep, that's what I thought too.

Yellow Stimulator, tied with deer hair
Chartreuse Stimulator tied with Antron body and elk hair.

    Really nice ties there Juan! However, you've got me hooked on hoppers so it might be a while before I get to any of these.

      Jerry, Low water or drought years have always had better dry fly fishing than normal or high water years. Gotta look at it in a positive light. See you soon.

    I'm trying to figure out the Sample Foam X Caddis. It looks to me like the body is dubbed, or is that foam? Dubbing over foam?

      Dave, thanks for following. The body on that Caddis is foam. I used Rainey's evazote foam cut thin and wrapped. It works good and has a good color. The color is camel. I think it is about 1/8" thick. I had no other use for that foam until this.

    Hey Juan,

    Can you share with us which emerger and adult pattern do you like to use on Colorado Arkansas during the spring hatch? Is it any of these or something different?
