Using a Unibobber for the parachute post, I have created a spinoff of the Hopper Juan. I'll have to give these a try this summer and see how they work.
Uggh! You've gotta be kidding. That's blasphemy! (Good thinking outside the box though.) Also, a little expensive. It'd be cheaper to go to Wal-Mart and get the extra-small red&white plastic bobbers. It'd do the same thing and be detachable at the same time.

ReplyDeleteI don't think the fly would work if you took the bobber off because the thread would slacken up and the whole thing would come apart. Am I right?

ReplyDeleteThe fish takes it under and the floatation of the unibobber sets the hook. You maybe on to something!!!!
