I gue...I have only tied this in a #20 and smaller. I guess you could do it in a#16 or 18, but the body would be pretty small for the size of the hook. The best thing about the size of thread, is that it is perfect for the smaller hooks. If you go bigger, you might be able to use embroidery thread. It is a bit bigger than this thread.
