I've been tying a lot of these lately and I think I have it down. The Sparkle Wings are excellent patterns to use during any hatch. Tied in a PMD, as shown here, or a BWO pattern, it's hard to beat. I threw in a little extra to try out. Enjoy.

I love this fly! Since I missed you at the Fly Fishing Show this year, I'll take a half dozen along with my usual hopper kits. See you in January.
ReplyDeleteI love tying and fishing PMD's especially on the frying pan in early fall. I like the addition of the wood duck feathers. Great job as usual. I will tie some of these this week for my annual trip to Aspen and Breckenridge starts on 9/30. I see a lunch at el taco rey in our future. Will call you today. Lou
